CWU Annual Conference 2016 Recognises Gender Difference Matter In H&S At Work

This year's CWU annual conference held in Bournemouth debated an area of health and safety that has gone too long in being ignored - that of the the gender differences between male and female which are ignored when it comes to risk assessments and personal protective equipment design.

In motion 56, the conference ignored the opposition from the NEC and agreed with the principle that the union should play a full role at the annual conference of Hazards, the country's major campaigning organisation which does more for workplace health and safety than any other organisation.
